Workers unite in one group.
Background and objectives:

As we are about to see a large drop in DAG members, we have only enough people to make one group and we would be better to join forces so that we are all involved in everything. The hard workers now need instant communication with each other in order to keep the pressure up. There are not a great number of hard workers but there are enough of us with determination and enough spunk to be the winners.

Sorry conned but you are

Sorry conned but you are being conned. HMG can resolve this, IoM cannot. IoM simply has not got the resources (mainly population!).

The screaming at the IoM will simply have deepening negative effects which - if Lucky Jim has his way - will result in the collapse of the IoM finance sector, and even less chance of getting as much back as possible.

While attention is being cleverly diverted from the real guilty people (I still get correspondance from 'friendlly' UK MP's expressing puzzlement at the lack of noise/flak/letters/etc to their collegues. Without the weight of publicity and pressure against parliament they dont have the clout needed to speak with authority) - they are getting away with a huge political gaff.

Lucky Jim is on an enormous power trip and I have to say that I really doubt his motives.

Another very clever post Jim.

Another very clever post Jim. But note that I am not the one that is screaming for the destruction of the Isle of Man, creating divisions in the depositors ranks and ensuring folk are diverted away from the real guilty parties - HMG/Darling/Pearson/Myners - who could actually resolve this.

@ Its Theft...calm down old

@ Its Theft...calm down old chap!

The DAG campaign is on TWO Fronts, Westminster & the IoM. You are majoring on the Westminster front & I am helping focus on the Douglas IoM Front. It is not about bringing down the banks, it is about campaigning for a political solution to bring about a 100% restoration of ALL deposits. This is now the ONLY way that the DAG's Mission will be accomplished.

If you read the evidence submitted on behalf of the DAG to the Foot inquiry HERE you will see every reason that supports the DAG's campaign DONT BANK ON THE ISLE OF MAN.

If you google 'don't bank on the isle of man' you will see that it is all over the first 2-3 pages. The DAG is working hard to bring about a political solution to achieve its just Mission & I am doing all I can to help it do it

PS: Who am I ? My biographical details are on my blog

The Isle of Man Government

The Isle of Man Government can put a stop to this campaign instantly. GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK. It is a bit naieve to expect us to put the interests of others before our own families. Is anyone putting our interests before theirs. I THINK NOT. My chum down the road who is not a depositor, is willing to put her neck on the line for US, and we are doing another video tomorrow. I warn you, it is even worse than my other videos because neither of us can sing. There would be a great deal of kudos in it for the Isle of Man if we were to raise banners congratulating the Isle of Man on giving us our money back.

Put video's on Youtube yes.

Put video's on Youtube yes. But lets get off this hysterical need to destroy the Isle of Man. While we are being bullied into this stance, HMG/Darling/Pearson/Myners are simply getting away with it.

They are the real rogues in this. Lets start asking the question; why is Lucky Jim hellbent on destroying the Isle of Man with an almost pathalogical obsession?

More the the point, WHO IS 'Lucky Jim' and if he is not a depositor why is he on this crusade 10 hours a day every day?

When we have 50 members with their video on Youtube we will have a Panorama programme. If you are (1) one of the 700 members with >£50k (2) you want 100% return of your money (3) you have a camcorder, digital camera with video clip facility or a webcam you can do what the DST is urging you to do by recording & posting on Youtube a clip with title DON'T BANK ON THE ISLE OF MAN.

If you would like to do this but need help as to how to do it feel free to contact me: from-jim(?)hotmail [dot] com

PS: @ Ohdear -- if you have registered for DCS you will get up to £50k (less any EPS paid) before end of September

Believe a lot of the Paid

Believe a lot of the Paid Outs 50K and below are still in there and giving support and helping out in different ways to the others. I think they will keep doing that till the Lights are Switched off in KSFIOM.for the last time. I think a good Soladarity was done since 2008, and the DAG and Supporting Team and Groups know this. There is still a light at the end of the Tunnel.

I would think the paid outs

I would think the paid outs would be glad to see the back of this fiasco. So would I. The forum has changed now and the hard workers are steaming ahead with their own plans to bring 100% of our deposits to fruition. We are punching above our weight and with hard work and determination, we intend to make ourselves heard. Don't Bank on the Isle of Man.

Good point, but please

Good point, but please remember that DCS paid-out members may want to remain site members, but not see all the day-to-day comments etc. That implies the need for at least two groups. Because the current configuration requires all members to be forcibly joined to the All members group, that group is then not the best place for day-to-day conversation. Maybe this configuration (forced membership of All members) is not the best solution, but there needs to be some group for all members who want to receive summary updates etc.
