The Isle of Man (IoM) government said on Friday that the decision whether to put the Icelandic-owned bank into permanent liquidation would be delayed until November 27.

The delay was supported by creditors, which include UK institutions whose customers have accounts in the bank. "Giving an extra month allows more time for lobbying," said one.
