Is this not the time to demonstrate, right in the face of IOM Government, right on its doorstep, that enough is enough! How much more are we supposed to endure. They were not willing to ensure the return of 100% of our deposits, as every other authority has. They had the means but lacked the desire. WHY? Because their overiding desire was simply to be seen as self-sufficient. They refused to ask UK for assistance and in the knowledge that by not doing so we are would all be ******. Its so-called SOA, that it instigated for itself, was thrown back in its face for the callous, self-minded obfuscation it was seen to be. A total waste of their money. Except that it wasn't. It may be our money, what's left of it! They now want US to pay the cost for their half-baked, and ultimately, failed legal attempts at damage limitation. And WE continue to pay the real price of being deprived of our life-savings. How many are willing and able to help organize a mass demonstration on the steps of Tynwald and in front of the world media. Does DAG agree. The IOM Government needs to be disgraced. Self-sufficiency for them has done untold damage to us. Many elderly have become ill with worry. The IOM's so-called self-sufficiency must be shown to the world for the callous self-serving agenda it really is. Best Wishes to you all.
