After all the work in setting up the DAG, 40,000-odd postings, numerous letters to MP's, UK and IoM governments, FSA, FSC, TSC and so on, plus the appointment of teams and lawyers, court affidavits and collecting funds from depositors to pay for all of this, we must surely ask ourselves the question: Would we not be in precisely the same position in terms getting some or all of our money back if the DAG didn't exist?

Currently we have the IOM-G's ESP and an SoA proposal that needs to be finalised and approved, but I doubt that these are the result of any of DAG's actions. In fact, DAG opposed the SoA. What DAG has achieved thus far, is making the plight of 10,000 KSFIOM depositors widely known and bringing together over 2500 of us, but how much closer are we to getting 100% of our money back compared to 5 months ago? How much more effort and funding are required and for how much longer, and what are the chances of eventual success?

Just asking - no criticism intended.

Hi scottr,
It takes a while for an Action Group to organise itself, then it needs to play catchup with the other parties, it needs time to build contacts and find out who are the allies and who are the enemies. This does not happen overnight. Most of us do not understand the Politics or complexities of a situation like this. It take time to dig deeper to find the dirt and the inter-relations between parties. Added to this the wheels of Governments and Authorities do not run quickly, as you know they grind along at a very slow speed - so to some extent time has helped and is helping this Group. With this time holes are starting to appear in systems and truths/lies are now becoming uncovered, which to my mind can only help our cause for a 100% return of our deposits/savings etc

They will bury us

It a good question but with all action this they have done nothing.

Without it they would have buried us and still intend to do so we must not let this happen.

They intend to hang us out to dry, but we are not going to take it quietly. One day we will hit on the bit of information that will hang them out to dry,so keep on shouting and screaming. In fact they are so blooming stupid they well might hoist themselves on their own petard. Fingers crossed.
