IT Contributions received over the past couple of months - Thanks to those who contributed:
March: 247.88, April: 359.37 - Those figures are net after direct costs (PayPal fees, server fees.)

Normally I base my fees on 55 GBP / 80 USD per hour for standard (Mon-Fri) hours on short or part-time projects. What this means is I cannot currently afford to put time into the DAG websites and IT support function. For anyone who has emailed me with questions etc and not received a reply, this is why - sorry. Basic maintenance tasks such as upgrades and backups are still being performed on a reasonably regular basis, and I am still checking the sites, normally at least once a day for basic functionality. Any emergency problem-fixing, will happen as quickly as possible, but there may be down time of 24 hours or more in any such cases.

The "old" IT Donations page is here: http://www.ksfiomdepositors.org/public-page/website-and-it-services-funding and information on where to send bank transfers will be sent by automated email if you send a message to it-donations(?)ksfiomdepositors [dot] org -- I am considering implementing a subscription system as discussed here - http://chat.ksfiomdepositors.org/poll/web-sites-and-it-funding-survey - and there is a loose plan to formalise an arrangement with the DAG entity, but I suspect everyone is too busy to get that sorted now.

Why so few donations?

I cannot believe that so few people have donated to ng's services. Don't you all realize that without this web site, we wouldn't have a clue what was going on. This is the backbone of 100% recovery. It has been a lifeline for so many depositors. We cannot expect ng to work for free, so please give whatever you can.

I think that a subscription idea is an excellent idea. Surely everyone can afford a few pounds.

Apparently as a result of my post, there has been a minor flurry of contributions - thanks! A little over 100 people/couples have contributed to Web/IT over the past few months, many of those having contributed more than once. Again I'll re-iterate, if anyone wants to take over, let me know. You probably need to know Linux, Apache, PHP and Drupal at a minimum, and MySQL, Postfix etc ideally.
