re: http://www.manxradio.com/readNEwsItem.aspx?id=26958

refers to questions to be asked in Manx parliament
extract:
Liberal Vannin leader Peter Karran has withdrawn his questions, and Treasury Minister Allan Bell says at this point such inquiries will only increase his department's workload as it tries to resolve the situation

Anyone know why he would have withdrawn his questions?

Another MHK said:
"The Treasury Minister and Chief Minister have got to stand up and tell us what they know."

Tynwald has revised the depositors scheme by now agreeing to compensate business'es, charitable organisations and other small firms by GBP 20,000. This is offcourse better than before when there was no compensation but it still does not help. Many of us have maybe 5 times more than what they have agreed to compensate.

It is just an indication that our continuous efforts are being rewarded but more work needs to be put in. Eventually the idea is that IOM gov works harder in getting a bank to buy out KSFIOM. This way none of us loose and nor does the government of IOM.

Friends we need to continue sending faxes, emails, letters to the FSC, Treasury, Tynwald, newspapers agencies so that more pressure is put on these guys to work out a plan to save all depositors.
