Hi Folks,

Attaching my thoughts on the JLs August figures, and my updates on estimated returns for your perusal.

Again data on as an attachment in order to keep the format to make reading info easier. Hope you do not mind.

As always my thoughts and guesses, so could be totally wrong - but hope not.

Gordon,

As always, many thanks to you and Ice for your continued updates, so much appreciated by those of us that have to continue to earn a living to fill the 'gap' in our finances left by KSF IoM!

Kind regards,

Mike

Hi,

See the latest JL dispatch is on the KSFIOM website....once again, hoping it means good news for us all, or too soon to tell?

Gordon, Ice - what do you think?!

Thanks as ever for your insight -

On the face of it it appears somewhat alarming that no further loans due in 2010 have been repaid in September. Or is it that no 2010 repayments were due in September? It now appears over 10 million / month is due to be repaid in the remaining quarter of 2010. Let's pray this is achieved. Also no sign of the top up payment to reflect the "agreed" increase in monies due from KSF UK.

Have I missed something here? I havent seen the September numbers yet? Arent the comments made my D Ram explained by the fact that nil repayments of the loan book in September are explained by the fact that the report hasnt been published yet?

The JLs issued on 7 October the position on the Loan Book as at 30 September 2010 and compared it to the two months preceeding, obviously including as at 31 August 2010. It shows 14 Loans outstanding for 2010 at both dates and the amount outstanding ( 30 million + ) slightly greater on 30 September than on 31 August ( greater because of accrued interest or currency fluctuations ? ). It thus appears that no Loans due 2010 were repaid in September. Maybe no repayments were due in September but no information is provided in this regard.

Just £368.7k was repaid to the loan book during September 2010. There was an improvement in forex movements to £15.8m providing some positive offset to other losses. This means that at present the loan book has only lost about 0.4% of its total value, but the repayments for this particular month are well under 'target'. This could be due to borrowers deferring their loans, but as usual, our wonderful JLs see no need to provide us with any explanation of this anomaly. We have seen this type of very low return before - we have even seen a negative swing. The returns have been 'lumpy' as one of the JLs projected, so over the course of time to March 2014 we should not read too much into it just yet.

Ice

I hope that the the JLs realise that you have our backing.
You in your detailed way do as much as ' the Committee' to keep the 'banking bastards' on line.
It's a grind tracking these profiteering (looting bastards) to shove their face into the shit they produce, but it is worth it.
They are still looting. And they know no shame.

Gordon,

Thank you very much for your continued hard work and analysis, we very much apprciate your commitment and tenacity at forensic accounting. It is a pity that the JLs do not see the need to be a bit more communicative with us. Cannot say how much we appreciate your input.

I add my own comments to the many already written, to say thank you Gordon.
The JL's seem to treat us with contempt and in the absence of your analysis and that of others, we depositors
would be completely in the dark.

Gordon, a great piece of work that gives those of us remaining hope. You, Icecrusher and Yorkist do a most appreciated service to all. The timeline we have to endure can impact the final outcome either positively or negatively. It's both financially and mentally bruising. Your collective continued contributions are some light in these dark times. Keep well.

I can't find the words to express my appreciation for your diligence Gordon 45, and the same goes for everyone else who contributes their expertise.

Keeping in touch with the news – even when it has been unwelcome – is a comfort. I hope those who established and have maintained this site know how important it to feeling part of an understanding group.

Your estimates of a total return of between 85 and 93 p/£ are a lot better than I had originally feared – and I know that nothing is certain until the money is in the bank (and now we know even that is no guarantee!).

Best wishes

Thanks again

Again you have worked so hard on this for us all. Please keep chipping away as the JL's now know you are on their case and every penny helps us to recover some of our loss. Well done and a big thank you for all your updates and thoughts.

Gordon 45

A heartfelt thank you for your work on these figures.

I am afraid my grasp of the matters in hand is nowhere near your level. Your thoughts are conveyed to my aging relatives and they cling to the hope of enjoying their latter years with most,if not all,of their hard earned cash. I hope they live to enjoy it.

Thanks Gordon 45
