It is Christmas time. The season of goodwill.

Let's please raise a glass and give a BIG THANKS for all those people (who should be nameless in this issue) who have, are and will work hard for us ALL.

There are some negative comments on this site, some of which may cause those hard working guys (and lasses!) thoughts of "why do I bother"!

To those on the Isle of Man who work behind the scenes with the Liquidator Provisional AND the Isle of Man Government, to those in the UK who represent us to the media and to the lawyers and to the IT people who make it possible for us to know much of what is going on .....

HAPPY CHRISTMAS ... and thanks.

AND to the remaining staff of "our" bank and the Liquidator Provisional.

All nameless - all doing something in OUR cause.

Looks like we'll be here for the second Christmas in this whole affair! Fast looming on the horizon is Christmas 2009! Let's get some serious campaigning in before we can take a break with our families, etc. May as well be the first to wish you all seasons greetings. Bit early but you know how fast it comes around.

Best wishes to all

I absolutely agree. Once more, from me and my family, very many thanks to everyone who has worked on this dreadful mess since day 1. Stay positive, help as we can, and hope for an early resolution. Happy new year to us all from Sunny 1.

Hear hear!

Happy Christmas to all of you working on our behalf. Many, many thanks. Your work does filter through this website, and where would we be without this!

Let's hope that early 2009 will be great, and we can then take stock of whatever lessons are bound up in this horrible mess.

Thanks to Everyone Helping Our Fight

Couldn't agree more Mr. Plod.

A timely reminder to all of us that we owe a great deal to the people who are working so hard at the "sharp end". Frustation and fear often generate negative comments but we would be in a far worse position without all those referred to by Mr. Plod.

Thanks so much

A Merry Christmas and let's hope - prosperous new year to all on the site.
And especially to those at the sharp end, there's a lot of people putting in a lot of work for the rest of us.Thank you one and all.

I don't know where I'd be without this website, I need my daily fix and to read the comments of my new 'virtual' friends.

Once again I hope that Christmas is as Merry as it can be - I know that there are so many facing hardship. (As many of us on this site are expats we are also dealing with the demise of the £, making the cost of living more expensive than ever - just when we don't need it.)

And here's to a 2009 - wishing everybody a positive conclusion the this awful mess.

And here's to a 2009 -

May I add my voice to those above.

If not quite so Happy, may I wish you all a Peaceful Christmas.

A heartfelt thanks to the folk that that keep this site alive, the IoM and London Teams, plus all the folk in the background that are working hard on our behalf.

To coin a well known phrase let us all hope 2008 is the end of our "Annis Horribilis" and trust we can all look forward to an equitable solution in 2009........ and sooner rather than later... :-)

Thanks to all - and Best wishes for Christmas

I would just like to reiterate our thanks to everyone who is doing so much on our behalf. I check the site daily and feel a kind of comfort knowing we are not the only people in this awful situation. Reading how others are coping has helped me deal with it and keep a positive outlook.

There is so much going on behind the scenes that we have to stay positive and believe this will all work out in the end. The bickering and negativity that some members seem to delight in have no benefit whatever, so lets all resolve to band together 100% and put our efforts into the whole reason for being here - to get our money back. Only then can we get back to living the normal lives we had prior to that fateful day of October 9th.
