Hi all French Group,
Just as an experiment initially, I am trying to find out the situation regarding recepit or not of voting documents - obviously to start with, within the French Group.

Would you please add a comment to this topic saying if you have recd the voting pack from PWC (and date of receipt) or not and also which class you are in (class1 - fully protected £50k or under. class2 partially protected ie £50k and over. class 3 unprotected ie bondholders through Insurance companies)

Thank you all for your help in this

I live in Ankara and have not received anything to date.
Knowing the usual time it takes for post to travel between UK and Ankara, I downloaded the forms as soon as possible and sent them, by DHL, to my proxy vote and to the Isle of Man.
I am class 2.

Too busy to post before. I live in Paris and am a Class 2 depositor. Needless to say, I have still not received my voting papers. I have emailed Mike Simpson (copy to DAG) to register my dissatisfaction. Of course I downloaded the form and sent off my proxy vote last week.

We're Class 2: proxy vote mailed last week.
Perhaps they know they're going to lose and don't want to waste the postage.................

I live in the Tarne and Garrone, and have not as yet received my Voting pack .
I duly down loaded the voting forms from the website and sent them via Airmail
to Edwin Coe on the 4th May. Yesterday I received an Email from the Action group reminding me that I had not sent in my forms!!! It would appear that their is problems both ends.
THis morning I faxed a copy of the forms to the Solicitors, hoping they will be accepted before the deadline.
I am in Class 2.

This is becoming very interesting. As of today, only one out of 16 who've replied (excluding 2 outside France) has received anything!

Whether or not you've received the documents, please keep the info coming in and updated where appropriate to give us as accurate a picture as possible.

Thanks for your help. Vive la France!

Today's post has been delivered but no form received yet.

I have no printer so I have downloaded the pdf form, saved it as a wps (word processor) file so that I can fill it in, and emailed it to Edwin Coe. Hope this is acceptable.

France 10th May. No voting papers. If it becomes obvious that the papers are not going to turn up on time, will we be able to have the vote annuled on the suspicion that there has been dirty work at the crossroads? This has happened throughout the world so why not to us?

We're class 1, joint account, nothing received yet even though post usually takes only 2 days from the UK.
Downloaded forms and returned our votes a week ago, though.
Useless, aren't they? No, worse than useless, manipulative, dishonest, despicable...

As joint (Class 1) account holders my wife and I should have received two packs, one for each of us. My wife got her pack over a week ago ( I think it was 30 April) but I'm still waiting. However, I simply downloaded forms.

... it looks like your pack got sent by mistake!

Out of 15 replies to date on this thread, you are the only one living in France to have received anything by 10 May (and on 30 April at that!). I can only assume your's got dropped into the wrong bin by mistake and was erroneously sent by proper normal post instead of going via slow boat to (or via) China with the rest. Maybe they will drop through everyone else's letter boxes today - but that will already be 2 weeks since the details were posted on the bank website... Such consistent postal delays are unimaginable otherwise.

None received as of 12th of May.

However, we DID receive EPS statements some time ago.. (One Class2 and one Class One depositor)

It is obvious that these papers were NOT sent off on time since almost no-one has received them and since other documents ARE getting through...

Today 14th May ---- no forms in sunny philippines.

I exchanged e mail with Simpson and he said he would recommend to the DD that scanned forms be accepted .I asked him to approach the DD before the hearing--he said it was difficult to do this.

A phone call might do it----72% of respondents have not received the papers---how much evidence does he need????
