I've just signed on and am cheered by all the activity on this website. Well done all of you. My husband and I stand to lose our life savings - 270K. Thought we wouldn't gamble on the stockmarket, but put it somewhere safe. How stupid could we be!! Even more stupidly it's all in my name rather than both.
Am a bit confused by this petition - how do I sign as I thought there was going to be a pushbutton system set up? It doesn't seem to be very clear on the website. Please let me know.

Petition and signatures to us in IOM?
Expat wonders how you are going to get the "signatures" to us here in IOM to attach to the petition. I assumed as a tx file or Excel? Or am I missing something?

Don't know how to leave a new thread, and too stressed to find out.
Anyway Lobby your MP to get attention in the house of commons. I've contacted William Hague, Conservative, hopefully he will sit up and help, remember MP's will only do something if there is a large enough demand by constituents, it can take 2 working days for MP's to get your message so DO IT NOW, for contact info just google their name and constituency, your local council will help. Remember the bank cannot be bought without the funds being returned form the UK. Liquidation without this funding, well we will get bugger all.
I will join hoppers legal action, but if we get support from MP's then we stand a greater chance.

Congrats to Diver and all the folk involved in the petition. Outstanding work. The suggestion that people meet beforehand is excellent (unfortunately I can't join you as I'm Down Under, but a UK citizen). Those of you attending should consider making placards, banners etc. If TV news directors and newspaper editors are informed when an angry group of KSFIOM depositors is going to No. 10, they'll get their cameras there.

I would get everyone I know to sign it, but on the basis that we are registering with name, location and how much we each lost, it could lead to people believing that only depositors (not friends and families) can sign up

This is our chance to make a big splash and let the world know the real situation. We're trying to arrange to have it handed personally to Mr. Brown et al in the UK & at the same time in the IOM.
