Are you all refering to the petition listed here: FINAL PETITION - SIGNUP:
http://www.ksfiomdepositors.netgenius.co.uk/?q=node/325
(The threads are a bit confusing so its not clear).

If so, I think there are a few problems with it which I've outlined on that thread. Can I ask you to consider these points? Thanks. Blair

I've just signed on and am cheered by all the activity on this website. Well done all of you. My husband and I stand to lose our life savings - 270K. Thought we wouldn't gamble on the stockmarket, but put it somewhere safe. How stupid could we be!! Even more stupidly it's all in my name rather than both.
Am a bit confused by this petition - how do I sign as I thought there was going to be a pushbutton system set up? It doesn't seem to be very clear on the website. Please let me know.

seperate threads have been created to organize delivery of the petitions. to keep things clear, perhaps we could transfer discussions about the coordinatin of teams to deliver the petitions to:

'Home' › 'Forums' › 'Actions' › 'General Actions' > 'Petition Delivery - UK'
'Home' › 'Forums' › 'Actions' › 'General Actions' > 'Petition Delivery - IoM'

Expat wonders how you are going to get the "signatures" to us here in IOM to attach to the petition. I assumed as a tx file or Excel? Or am I missing something?
We can Sefton to print both petition and signature list.
Pls advise

Don't know how to leave a new thread, and too stressed to find out.
Anyway Lobby your MP to get attention in the house of commons. I've contacted William Hague, Conservative, hopefully he will sit up and help, remember MP's will only do something if there is a large enough demand by constituents, it can take 2 working days for MP's to get your message so DO IT NOW, for contact info just google their name and constituency, your local council will help. Remember the bank cannot be bought without the funds being returned form the UK. Liquidation without this funding, well we will get bugger all.
I will join hoppers legal action, but if we get support from MP's then we stand a greater chance.

I cant feed my family without this money, I cant get a job because of my illness
This is it, do or DIE

Congrats to Diver and all the folk involved in the petition. Outstanding work. The suggestion that people meet beforehand is excellent (unfortunately I can't join you as I'm Down Under, but a UK citizen). Those of you attending should consider making placards, banners etc. If TV news directors and newspaper editors are informed when an angry group of KSFIOM depositors is going to No. 10, they'll get their cameras there.

No apologies for keeping on banging the drum.....

just send an email to ksfisleofman(?)gmail [dot] com with your first initial, surname & location.

The main thing is to get hundreds/thousands of signatures to put onto the printed petition.

Delivery is set for Monday in the UK & IOM and hopefully in Iceland.

Time is short, this is a great opportunity and a lot of people are willing to put themselves out to make it happen. All the rest have to do is send an email.

Diver, Ben, Sleeplessnight, Expat

Now that the petition is finalised, can we have a thread/heading to coordinate the delivery on Monday?

I'm pretty certain that a lot of people would be interested in turning up, we need a time and a meeting point.

Some way of putting the time, date, meeting point on the home page would make sure everyone knows where to be and when...NG possible?

We are trying to get a 'petition signup' button added to the homepage on this site. In the meantime, while this is being looked at, we need as many to signup as possible. The petition is almost complete (check out the post) and we need EVERY name added to the petition so its has maximum effect.........so sign up now...here's how::

Signing up for the petition:

everyone who would like their name added to the petition (and everyone should do it), just sends an email to the following email address which has been set up specifically for the purpose.

ksfisleofman(?)gmail [dot] com

Send the email in the following format:

first initial, surname, location, account type, amount lost

The petition (once complete) will be emailed to the team in the UK, IOM and if we can Iceland. The petition will have on the bottom a list of names of all those who have 'signed' up.

The petition will be printed in UK, IOM and delivered to the authorities by hand in front of the media. As many people as possible should go along on the designated date/time to give support. (Peacefully of course)

The point is to let everyone know of the situation and that a lot of peoples livelihood's are at stake,

While NG is setting up a 'sign up' button etc. We need as many signatures as possible for the delivery of the petition.

This is our chance to make a big splash and let the world know the real situation. We're trying to arrange to have it handed personally to Mr. Brown et al in the UK & at the same time in the IOM.

If we don't get enough names to add to the petition it will make it look pretty weak.

So please, JUST DO IT (in the words of a well know co)
