Not Entitled

There are many things that PWC/ provisional liquidator (through their solicitors in the IoM) and the IoMT/FSC have told depositors that they are not entitled to over teh pat several months. They include, but are by no means limited to, detailed information about the bank's finances, (indirect) access to lists of depositors so that they can be informed of DAG's position in relation to the scheme, a copy of the parental guarantee, details of the proposed working and timing of the DCS, notice of the application to the English court for recognition of the moratorium, numbers of depositors in each of the two depositor classes.

They may have all been right, and we are not entitled, however unreasonable that may be. In just the same way, blind old ladies are not entitled to demand that I escort them across the road, but that doesn't stop me doing so. The conduct of the IoM authorities and PWC throughout has been such as to engender total distrust, and now they ask us to please support their scheme. Now we have an answer:
"You have been saying for months that we are not entitled to a whole host of things, well now it is our turn to say that you, the IOMG, IOMT, PWC, FSC and all the other uncooperative IoM institutions and their solicitors that are rooting for the SoA, are NOT ENTITLED TO OUR VOTE for your scheme."

The deadline is 15th, not 13th. Proxy votes received in IoM by email or fax by 15 May will be counted - at least if mailed version is received before the court hearing.
