Norwich Union

I have invested (?) my money through the Norwich Union. They are unwilling to discuss anything with me. So far, I have received just one letter from the Norwich informing me of my loss. I have written unanswered emails. Called their helpline to be told that "we are trying to help", but when questioned as to how this "help" is manifesting itself, the beleagured woman just says " have patience". It is so frustrating...

Has anyone else investments with the Norwich? If so, have you had any response from them?

I assume I am in the same position as the Royal Skandia customers- treated as a Corporate investor.

I am in no way an economist - just an old hippy who stands to live an old age in penury. So, a huge thank you to all who have explained so much on this site.

Same as you with Norwich Union International. Premier Bond.

Also received incorrect advice from a Financial Adviser who informed me that all cash deposits were covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Awaiting the outcome of Friday's meeting to see if they (Norwich Union) comment further or send a letter out.

I'm with the Norwich Union, like you I have just had the standard letter.

I think even the bond providers are in the dark at the moment.

i would suggest that you write to the chief executive of aviva, the owner of norwich union. it can only but help. they are a massive company and could no doubt easily afford to make you good. andrew moss is the chief exec, you can google for their head office
