Loan to operate KSF IOM bank
I know that @ 600K of KSFIOM is still in the hands of KSF(UK) and if returned would possibly allow KSF IOM to continue to operate. Is there no interest by another bank/financial institution in buying it? Is there no way that the Isle of Man government can apply to the IMF for a loan to refloat the bank? Could the UK government be asked to loan this money or the EU? HMG may not feel they have done anything illegal in keeping the IOM deposits but ethically it's a completely different matter. If the bank was resurrected and as in the case of Northern Rock, they'd soon be turning away potential investors if a good rate of interest was offered. Then the loan could be repaid. I know that I'm certainly no financial whizz and I'm being quite naive or is the IOMg looking into this?

Thanks for your reply. I have been watching the website every day but I get befuddled by all the copious items and sometimes contradictory advice/info. Sometimes I think my head is going to explode! That's when I turn to your jokes....got to laugh, whatever...although sometimes hard......Sorry to repeat but desperation leads you to do stupid things. Keep up your cheerful contributions and also for your very astute replies. Not sure where you live ( and not prying) but knew RAF Cottesmore quite well...Hope your 2009 proves to be one in which we can renew faith in mankind....keep laughing!
