Implications of ‘running-down’ the bank

Does anyone have an idea of what are the possible implications of 'running down' the bank? There is some suggestion it could be good for those with larger amounts but not so good for those with smaller amounts. Can anyone give more light?

Hi all

Just to say hello. News looks stronger on the site over this last few days. I'd be interested to hear people's views on supporting the legal action.

I'm in BKK with 100+k at stake and hardly a bean to spare from local salary right now.

I notice there's been a meeting. If any more planned, please let me know.
