Here's a simple question. I've not been at the computer since Friday night. Can someone tell me please, how do I simply and quickly find all the posts (on all topics) that have been entered since I last viewed the site?

i.e. How can I list every post in chonological order so that I can keep reading backwards to pick up all the detail I've missed?

You might notice on the menu on the left a link that says Recent posts - I think that's what your asking for (and no, I didn't just add it, its been there a long time!).

I'm currently re-organising site structure, menus, etc, and Recent posts might be renamed, moved and be supplemented by related features.

If you have any more questions, please Ask a question (that one is new.) Asking in the forum is fine two, the difference is that Ask a question gets flagged to a specific team of "experts" (for want of a better description!) - The team needs volunteers by the way, technical, legal, financial and other topics.

I don't find it an efficient way of viewing recent posts

Thanks for the reply ng. It's not actually what I asked for though. I'm aware of the recent-posts link but I don't find it effective for catching up on everything. I think the reason is that it doesn't in fact list the individual posts.

To give an example, there were some replies to my own post from 28-Oct-08, "Legal implication of Kaupthing taking over Derbyshire IOM" and one of these replies is as recent as today "Steve: Posted: Sat, 08/11/2008 - 12:42".

The trouble is, that post from Steve today is burried within it - you would never know it's there, since from the "recent posts" listing, it doesn't show it. How could you go through each entry in the "recent posts", just to look for everything more recent? Hard work.

To my mind, the listing of recent posts in date order of the original entry (i.e. in my case 28-Oct) is unhelpful. It's the reply date that's more useful.

The suggestion of using e-mail is better. The trouble is there that I get multiple copies of those! Nevertheless it is still more workable.

The Forum is rather like an encyclopedia with lots of new material being added all the time!

The easiest way to keep in touch with particular Posts/threads in which you are interested is to click 'subscribe to....' at the foot of each Post. Then every time something is added you will be sent an automated e-mail containing a link to that Post. BUT beware! your in-box will be flooded well within 24 hours !

Right now though I suggest you click on Forums in the menu bar & select those forums you want to browse to see what has been posted in them since you were last on line.

Then if you have time to spare look at other items in the navigation bar at the top of the page (eg: Press for Press Releases, Our Stories for members' stories, etc..)

Hope this helps
