It appears that the IOM "scheme(?)singers [dot] co [dot] im" have gone back on their word (also approved by the deemster) that emailed votes are acceptable - they received mine a week ago and then emailed me requesting that I mail in the originals by post too before May 27th. What is gong to happen to all those far flung fellow depositors who still have not even recieved their voting papers? Their only option is to vote by email , barely time for that let alone by mail!

Here is the copy of the email I received:

I received the same message having already e-mailed and mailed by registered mail the downloaded copies of the forms. I have also formerly objected to the Deputy Deemster and given a radio interview today following a similar complaint to Manx Radio about missing voting papers. It is now May 19th and we have received no voting papers in the mail after over 3 weeks assuming they were mailed out when they claimed AND YET we received the updated balance sheet from Mike Simpson with his letter dated May 12, mailed on May 14th and received May 16th - i.e. only 2 days later! They must have been put on a much faster pigeon?!
