DCS - Payee details?
Hi
My husband received an email from Mike Fayle, (but not me although we're joint account holders), askin him to update the Payee details on the DCS site. I've logged in every day, like the email says, but nothing has changed. Just wondering if the email is genuine, if anyone else got it, or indeed anyone has managed to updae their payee details?
Wondering what to do next:-
- should I email them to find out why it's not been updated
- why my husband is informed and not me
any ideas, what is going on? Anyone been able to update their Payee details. I really don't want a cheque, as we in Oz, and it'll take two weeks to get here and I'll have to send it back to UK again!

I recieved the email informing me that my claim was recieved on 8th July. logged into DCS site from work on Saturday morning as was able to chage Payee Details for electronic transfer.
Cheque is useless to me since I am currently 8 weeks in Qatar and 3 weeks home in Thailand
DCS - not yet verified
I too received this email. And, like you, I cannot as yet update payment details. The DCS note explains that this will be possible only as and when claims are validated by the bank. My claim - submitted after the Creditors' meeting and shown as received on 27 July - is not yet validated. So I guess we just have to be patient a bit longer (the email is clearly genuine).
It's beginning to look as though some of us may have to wait longer to be paid by DCS than those claiming directly from liquidation (who will get 22% on 4 September).
Payee bank details
Yes I think patience IS called for here. We were able to fill in these details some time ago, but our claim was read on July 2nd
So keep your fingers crossed (as well as your cheques and checks!)

Similar story . . .
My wife and I are also joint account holders. Last week, another item was added to the DCS claim site, wherein one is to provide bank details to facilitate DCS payment. To date, the "Payee Bank" tab and screen have only been added to my wife's account, and, up through 24 August, not to mine. Provision is made for electronic transfer to the stipulated account, with a choice of currencies. Hopefully, my claim will also be progressed. If it is not updated by mid week, I shall have to ring DCS once again (from Australia).

DCS payment delay is surely inevitable
My situation is the same as that drglowry – joint account with one claim “validated”, but not the 2nd one. Both signed claim forms were sent at the same time and are recorded as received by DCS on 15th June.
In theory, those with registered dates up to and including 4th July, (look at your “Claimant Summary” opposite “Assignment & Form of Notice”) should be paid out in the first run on 1st September.
dizzy and drglowry : what claim reception dates do you have ?
anrigaut applied well after the initial 4th July deadline and logically should have to wait longer than those who applied before.
On the other hand, mekong’s claim was received after 4th July and already seems to be ahead of some of us.
So it looks as though the validation is not entirely related to when the claims were submitted to the DCS.
Perhaps some lucky people will be paid out on 1st September, but I agree that it looks increasingly unlikely that all who applied before 4th July will be included in this payment run.
For the rest of us, patience is indeed probably the best policy. Overwhelming the Scheme managers with telephone calls will not help them to clear the backlog. Obviously someone seriously underestimated the amount of work involved – the number of claims could have been estimated a long time ago.

both mine and my husbands were sent in the post from oz and were validated on the 30th June.
It's a joke if people have already got their payee details updated and their claims were registered after that, just goes to show that they can't organise a p*** up in a brewery!!!
Surely first in first done?
I'm sure your right a delay is looking highly likely, can they possible get themselves remotely organised? I'm so frustrated, it's not fair, we need our cash and running out of time.
Why can't they email you when they have done the validation, instead of us having to login each bloody day?
