Depositors wishing to make a DCS claim should be aware that the DCS is now back online but the website has now changed to a secure website which is now functional:

https://www.dcs.im/dcs/dcs.nsf/220509

The previous site was http://(same address), which still has the notice on it saying that the site is being upgraded. I guess this is just an oversight which will be corrected shortly.

Dear Mr ***********

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I have contacted the FSC, who as Scheme Manager have ultimate responsibility for the site, seeking an urgent response.

I have just completed my registration which went ok.

However I have sent this e mail

Mr. Mike Fayle,

Sir,

I have just managed to complete my application forms on the recently updated site.

You state there that hard copy of the assignment forms is essential for the claim to be processed----why?

We were assured that remote depositors could scan and e mail and post the hard copy to arrive sometime!

As an aside, I have still not received the hard copy by post of the SOA voting forms which were allegedly posted on 27th April.

A significant number of depositors live overseas(sic) and some have a worse postal facility than I.

What is the arbitrary deadline about?

You already have all the account details, so will be able to calculate the maximum quantum required if everybody goes with DCS which appears unlikely for high value depositors at least.

Is there any significance in the fact that the creditors committee hearing will be on 7th July?

My post normally takes maximum of two weeks each way.

Today is 20th--saturday--I cannot post until monday 22nd which leaves 8 days to your stated deadline which you said you would relax in view of the shortcomings of the on line facility.

Am I to be penalised once more?

JUST FOR GENERAL INFORMATION

I have just received e mail reply in response my quiry regarding confirmation of RECEIPT and to fill the LP CLAIM FORMS. THe following reply from SCheme Manager clarifies the topic of Fill LP CLAIM OR NOT

confirm that depositors who claim in the Compensation Scheme should not file claims in the liquidation and therefore there is no need to complete the proof of debt form.

confirmation of the receipt of claims will be sent out in due course.

Kind regards

Peter Halpin
