Anything I still have to do, to get the final payout?

Hi, It's such a long time since I have posted anything here, I have virtually forgotten what and how to do anything -- so I can only hope I can get this posted!

Because I have not found an address to clarify one very important thing:

Is there anything else I need to do, to be sure to get the final payout?

People are talking about filling in some form or other -- and I don't know whether or even IF I need to do this -- or simply nothing at all!

Then there's the DCS and the EPS... and after all this time I don't KNOW for a fact if I am registered for these, although logic suggests that I must have been registered for one or the other -- because I have received monies, until I think the most recent payout -- which seems about two YEARS ago....

Aringaut, if I may disturb you (because you did kindly respond to me, personally, in the past two years) could you please assure me that my status is "Good" and that there is NOTHING else for me to do now? (What about this "form" -- WHAT form? And does everyone have to fill one out -- if so, how do I get it??)

All I really need to know that I'm "good to go" and I can then relax....

Meantime, let me take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in getting us back our money -- it was great that we had you guys/gals, and I personally very much appreciate all that you have done.

The only other thing I would like to know, if anyone does know yet -- WHEN will we get this final payout??

Thanks a million,

Once Bitten.

All info re DCS requirements for payment is available on their website, including what documents are needed etc.

May I remind all that I currently have limited availabilty to deal with further queries here, and for an undefined period from 19 March I will be totally unavailable. See my blog of 8 March.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi there,

I really thought I'd explained all that in my thread "Final Distribution" - in the original post and clarifed in later comments - and the payment date of 31 March is posted in the shout box, with link to the latest on the bank site. I can't repeat all that - maybe you could read it more carefully!

Briefly however, you have nothing to do IF (and only if) you never claimed either DCS or EPS and your bank details have not changed since the last payment (in which case you should inform the Liquidator - as stated in 11 Feb update on the bank site).

BUT (as I've explained several times!) if you claimed either DCS or EPS (or both) you need to complete the form provided on the DCS website:

What I obviously can't do is tell you if your status is "good to go" as you seem not to remember whether or not you claimed in DCS or EPS.

The fact that you received monies is no indication unless you know whether they came from the DCS or directly from the bank (and in the latter case you also need to be sure you didn't claim EPS because the payment method has now changed for those who claimed EPS but not DCS).

To verify your status you should contact the bank as per the contact details provided in the 11 Feb update:

Good luck to you & everyone else!

Change for those who claimed EPS but not DCS

What's changed and when did it change, I've not seen any of this on the DCS website?

Thanks anriguat for all the work you have done for us over many years.

What has changed has been explained several times both (by me!) on this site (see this thread: and the Liquidator on the bank site. I realise that some of the information may seem complicated, but would kindly ask you & others to try to read carefully what has been written before raising queries.

Basically however: what has changed (as announced in Dec 2018) concerns two groups of depositors:

i) anyone who claimed in the DCS (and thus assigned their claim to them) must now complete and return a form provided on the DCS site MUST now complete the form supplied on their site ( to confirm or update their contact details in order to receive the final distribution. This will be paid by cheque (regardless of how previous dividends were paid).

ii) anyone who claimed the early payment (EPS) but did not subsequently claim under DCS and has to date received dividends directly from the Liquidator will receive the final distribution via the DCS and MUST therefore provide their details on the DCS form (the DCS will have no details for this group). So a major change for this group.

iii) those who claimed neither EPS nor DCS (ie are "directly in the liquidation") will be paid directly by the Liquidator as before and need to do nothing unless their bank details have changed since the last dividend in Nov 2014. If they have changed, they need to inform the Liquidator using the form provided for download on the bank site (before 29 Feb!). See the 11 Feb uodate here:

Anyone who is unsure what their status (ie which of the above applies to them) should contact the bank to find out: iom_ksf(?)pwc [dot] com or +44 1624 699222

I really hope this will help to clarify matters for all depositors as I have only just come out of hospital and am recovering from an op, so really can't cope with repeating it all in detail for those who have not followed over the last year, though if any different crops up I will continue to do my best to respond.

Dear Anrigaut,
Thanks so much for the update on this.

A simple question .... I know I have to complete the form and supply something with proof of address. If this proof of address is an original document do I still need to have it certified?

Uncertified original proof-of-address letters x2 worked for me

Hi Kevin.

No, at least in my case - they accepted originals, uncertified. I sent them two original letters to be on the safe side, one from our energy supplier, the other (ISTR) from our internet provider. I have just received email today from the DCS team confirming that my change of address has been accepted. It has taken them several weeks to react,

Kind regards,

Andy ("ng")

Thanks for your reply, I will

Thanks for your reply, I will get something off to them soon.
And thanks again for keeping all this alive and keeping us informed, seems like a long time ago when the KSF thing blew up in our faces.

anrigaut has limited availability at the moment, so I'm jumping in for her. Can I suggest that you direct this question to PwC, as they are best placed to advise on what their requirements are? I'd hate to tell you one thing for them to require the other.

All the best
