Advert for IT/Web Manager
I've posted a "job" advert:
- on the UK Drupal site
- on the international Drupal site.
As far as I know, none of the DAG members are in a position to fill the role, but maybe somebody knows somebody who could be.
This does not mean that I am "resigning", only that my personal and professional circumstances require me to adopt a more formal basis for my continued involvement, and I think the DAG needs the same, whether with me or any other provider. So, it's only right for the DAG to obtain alternative proposals. If a suitable provider can be found there will need be a hand-over period, so I don't imagine I'll be "disappearing" in anything less than a month.
The facility for IT donations is currently still in place - http://www.ksfiomdepositors.org/public-page/website-and-it-services-funding - but will be switched off soon so that funding for all DAG activities can be centralised.

I've just updated my original post. I'm happy that DAG is finally getting some structure and direction - something I've been trying to promote for a long time. That said - and absolutely no disrespect to the Strategy Team, who are doing sterling work - I do wonder if control of the web sites should remain independent. I can see positives and negatives to that. At the end of the day, the decision should be taken by members, and I am considering running a poll on the topic.

Just got to say thanks a million ng for your effort and that you truly are a gentleman.
