50,000 pound Sterling

A few months ago, I sent a form to IoM indicating my preference to receive 10,000 pound Sterling (pS - I don't have that scropt L with a couplke of lines through i on my keyboard) in advance of any future considerations, and without prejudice. This was in lieu of a previous form inviting applications for 1,000 pS.

Now, I received from the same source yet another form inviting me to accept 50,000 pS (I'm a Group 2 depositor) with the implication that that will be all I'll receive. Naturally, I did not send this form back.

Has anyone else received such an invitation and does anyone know what's behind it?
