I was just on the point of calling the DCS when my bank called with the good news. Money arrived on December 21, only six days after the JLs released it - DCS is improving!

Happy holidays everyone, only another 38.9% to go.

The 61.1% dividend has only been paid on the "amount admitted for dividend" which excludes " deferred interest" arising because under the Bankruptcy Code 1892 uncapitalised interest in excess of 5% may not rank for dividend until all other unsecured claims have first been paid in full. In my case the deferred interest is over GBP 6,000. We've a long way to go !

sunny 1. Mine also received on 21/12/2010. Like another correspondent, I don't in any way feel elated to receive what is rightfully mine, bearing in mind I have lost over 2 years interest and unless the IoM and UK govts do the decent thing re the loan trust it could be another 6 years before I get (hopefully) the remainder back!

Can anyone tell me if they have received the distribution in their account if, like me, they opted for the DCS route because as at today's date, nothing has reached my account?

The following is posted on the DCS site:

"When excess payments are due they will be paid to claimants in accordance with the payment details on the claim record. The Scheme Manager will seek to process surplus payments as quickly as possible, however, due care is essential. In accordance with his previously stated policy, it will be his aim to despatch payments no later than 25 December 2010. As this is a public holiday and the postal services will not be functioning as normal, the Scheme Manager will do everything possible to release the payments more quickly but is not able to guarantee that he will be able to do so. If the Scheme Manager is able to advance the timetable a notice will be posted on this site."

Dear All,

Pleased to confirm payment of 4th distribution received today.

61p back where it belongs, now we only need IoMG and HMG to get together and return the remaining 39p immediately, so that we can all get life back on an even keel!

My thanks to our Champions - Angela, Gordon, Ice and all the other unsung 'angels' that continue to work so hard on behalf of all of us.

A very Happy Christmas to you all.

Kind regards,

mikepapa

Although the JL's have announced that the above will be paid on the 15th December, does this actually mean that on that date, the money will be credited to our accounts?

Hi barrona, this is what happened for me at least the last time around. If you are in the DCS it takes about a week to 10 days longer I believe.

Absolutely correct - if you are direct from JLs then the monies are paid on the 15th and will be in your account on that date, or within apx 3 days depending on your bank and it's location.

If you chose (as I) the DCS route then the time lag is apx 7 - 10 days as Ice indicates above. You may have requested a cheque (which means you are not subject to BACS charges) the cheque is posted about 7 - 10 days after the dividend is payable but you may have to wait a few extra days for the postman!!!

Hope you can find yourself in one of those scenarios.
