RE get to IOM £40

Re my recent forum topic for getting to IOM for £40 with Steam Packet Company out of Liverpool, I've been contacted for further details. If you want to go on this ferry, to make the meeting you will have to go on a sailing the day before. The trip only takes 2.5 hours or so.

I mistakenly said there was a 3pm sailing, that is actually one of the return sailings from Douglas

There are various sailing times out of Liverpool, I'm getting a late one at 7pm on the 8th. Go to their website for complete details of sailing times.

There isn't a ferry that sails on the 9th to get there early enough. I imagine even flying one would have to go the day before.

Accommodation on IOM starts at £24 each for a B&B. I'm staying at the Hydro Hotel for £52 a room for a twin or double.

Even travelling alone one can do the trip with accommodation form £65, 2 people from £128 I booked the ferry and hotel separately, just google for hotels and B&B's on IOM there are lots of web sites
