DST Update 27/7/09

DST would like to apologise for the silence of the last couple of weeks, we have been busy trying to organise ourselves for going forward now that the Creditors Committee is established. The lists below are some of the areas we are covering at the moment

Legal
* following the recent appointment of 4 depositor nominees to the CC, we await the first draft confidentiality agreement for participating in the CC in advance of the first meeting of the CC. Members should note that the participation in the CC is going to be subject to a confidentiality undertaking which will govern the disclosure of information to the DAG
* appointing junior counsel to review the Derbyshire case
* coordinating input into the DAG submission to the Tynwald Select Committee inquiry into KSFIOM
* we are considering and evaluating other causes of action, e.g.
under IoM Human Rights Act

PR/Lobby
* collation of the evidence for the Tynwald Select Committee
* distribution of the DAG input to the Foot report to all national and international financial organizations
* briefing for several media articles
* collating a timeline for future political/financial events for PR and Lobby purposes
* correspondence with the TSC
* correspondence with specific MPs
* push for independent public inquiry
* raising the perceived issues surrounding PWC
* launch for the 'members only site'

Research, Analysis & Support
* groundwork for creation of new members only site
* establishing what information will be required from registered users of the members only site
* research of future events for the PR & Lobby team
* corresponding with members of the KSFUK CC
* corresponding with debtors of KSFUK who are highlighting cases of corruption
* registering KSFIOM DAG Ltd under data protection legislation

Internal Communication
* communication methods to be used for the 'members only site'
* establishing the registration process for the new 'members only site'
* witness statements for the proxy process for the CC
* ongoing support for people trying to understand the DCS and assignment of rights etc
* assist with 'viral' campaign
