Appointment of Bell Pottinger, Public Relations and Public Affairs Consultants

The DAG, as you know, has been represented by the legal team at Edwin Coe in London and by Advocate, John Wright on the Isle of Man since November 2008. This legal representation has helped give credibility to our cause and equipped us to respond appropriately to events in the IOM courts.

As a key part of our strategy for the crucial next 6 week period, we have appointed Bell Pottinger - one of the UK’s most highly respected and experienced PR agencies - to work with us to make sure key messages are getting to the appropriate people in the media and political worlds first hand. They have considerable expertise in this regard having represented the Equitable Members’ Group and the Railtrack Shareholder’s Action Group where they also teamed up with Edwin Coe.

The Isle of Man has, as you will have seen, spent well over half a million pounds creating and promoting their Scheme of Arrangement which makes no guarantees of returning 100% of depositors’ savings. The DAG Strategy Team are very pleased to have secured the assistance of the Bell Pottinger team in our fight for 100% recovery.
