DAG Priority Teams Recruitment
Posted 06/03/2009 - 12:42 by Anonymous
Dear Fellow Depositor
Recruitment of teams
Further to the update published on March 2nd HERE:
We are now recruiting volunteers to fill specific roles on the three different teams. Each are of vital importance in the run up to the next hearing and beyond. Volunteers are also welcome to suggest roles they feel well equipped to fulfil which we may have not yet specified but would nonetheless be useful additions to the team. There is a link to the application form at the end.
There are a few general qualifications for all roles. Each team member will need to:
- provide full identity particulars to all other team members. While most team meetings will be by Skype, there will be a few physical meetings (where practical given the distances!) and the team dynamics will not work if people do not know who they are working with
- be on Skype – ideally with video cam
- genuinely have the time needed to do the role applied for
- be willing to take responsibility for the tasks/outcomes assigned
- be a team player by nature
- have a sense of humour – you’ll need it!
The work is unpaid and non-pensionable! If travel to IOM is agreed to be necessary, subsistence expenses will be reimbursed out the DAG fund. (We are currently negotiating with IOMG lawyers that such expenses will be refunded by IOMG. Sadly there is resistance!)
You are requested to volunteer using the form at the end. Brief descriptions of all roles requiring volunteers are below.
We are moving fast and therefore please apply as soon as possible. We hope to start reviewing applications by the end of the weekend to start working next week. Final recruitment decisions will be the responsibility of the DAG Strategy Team and we are keen to have an embarrassment of riches to choose from.
Many thanks in advance to you all.
